Future Home of the Animal Earth Alliance

This is how I dream of the Alliance’s future home base. I own this land in the Ozarks, and the house on it has the potential to become a common house, a place where people can work, cook, eat and plan together. Around it, little tree houses and huts tucked into the woods give people a private space of their own. Grandparents, parents, teenagers and little ones tend the fruit trees and the garden side by side. Down on the path, Barbara and I walk together while our dogs run free. It’s all still a dream, and I’m so excited to see it grow.

All Beings Sanctuary is my land in the Arkansas Ozarks, and I dream of it becoming the future headquarters of the Animal Earth Alliance, or AEA. After so many dreams over the years, I believe I have finally found my purpose. Please know this is all still in the dreaming stage. Nothing is built yet, and I’m so excited to see what grows from it.

Our purpose

The Animal Earth Alliance exists to unite, empower and inspire all the people and organizations working for the animals and the earth, so we can work together in a healthy community, and all of life can thrive. You can read the Alliance’s Vision and Values on the AEA blog.

What I hope the Alliance becomes

  • The go-to place for people who want to help the earth and animals finds others and get connected.
  • A place where anyone with an idea for a big project can come and get the support they need to take off.
  • A friendly network where groups help each other, instead of each one working alone.

My big inspiration is the March to Abolish Animal Testing. One person had an idea, another came alongside her, about 40 volunteers helped, and it all happened within three months. With the help of AI, more of us can make things like that happen.

I also see so many people doing deep work on themselves: becoming healthier, growing in their relationships, and becoming more loving toward people as well as animals. Sometimes it has felt like there was an excuse not to love people, because we had to save the animals. I believe we can do both. Caring for each other is how we keep going for the long haul.

Where to find the Alliance

The Alliance has its own blog: animalearthalliance.wordpress.com. There you can read how the Alliance works, our starting ideas, and the plans for our first online think tank, Unite for the Animals and the Earth, coming in 2027. My dear friend Barbara Hulley is my advisor, the first person on the Alliance’s advisory board.

This blog is where I share news about the land that will be its home base.
