THE COVID VIRUS LOCKDOWN HAS GRABBED THE WORLD’S ATTENTION, BUT THERE IS SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL BEHIND WHAT WE’RE SEEING. Governments around the world have caused an unprecedented loss of jobs, businesses, and income for billions of people. The fear mongering by the media that is inundating the public consciousness is in direct opposition to what we know we must do as a species to bring an end to fear, domination and violence that keeps rocking the world. I believe that what we are seeing is the world of patriarchy and anthropocentrism in its death throes.
Feminine, divine mother, ahimsa consciousness is now powerfully rising out of the ashes, after centuries of misunderstandings of who we really are. We are now in the process of transforming from a dominator species to Homo Ahimsa—the vegan species that lives in respectful, nonviolent partnership with all life.
Beyond a doubt, this virus lockdown is over the top. With all that we’re witnessing, it’s tempting to say that it’s too late now, that we have lost, and the dark forces will continue to overwhelm the world. But, now more than ever, we have to look beyond the appearance of this most recent and quite ferocious event. It is because of the beautiful rising of ahimsa consciousness itself that these forces are so threatened and reacting in such a dramatic way. This reaction is actually evidence of how powerful this ascension of human awareness really is. Human beings have always known deep in our hearts that we are not predators, we are not violent or warlike. Yet what we have seen around us for at least the last ten thousand years seems to prove otherwise.
We have to look beyond the current hysteria to who we really are. How do we do that?—by looking beyond what we see with our eyes, beyond the follies and ignorance of Homo Sapiens. We are not victims of the dark force of domination that has, up to now, caused endless death and destruction.
That force has no power against the force of Divine Love that lives in every single one of us and in all of nature and all beings. But we have to recognize that we are that. We have to boldly claim our right to BE that. We are Homo Ahimsa rising. We are here now. We need to be fearless and confident. This is our window of opportunity, when the world is in this heightened state of fear, confusion, and uncertainty.
OUR COMMON DREAM, OUR COMMON PRAYER. This is not the time to unite against another “enemy.” It is time to unite, not against anything, but rather for our common dream to create a vegan world of nonviolence, peace and freedom for all. Governments and corporations cannot solve the crises and are powerless to create a world of peace, because they are mired in the dying worldview of domination and violence.
So it is up to each of us. Everything we do and every prayer we pray now matters and makes a difference. Divine Intelligence and Love is guiding us into this new way of living. We are not alone. Prayers are ascending from millions of people in organized online prayer vigils and among us in our own homes throughout each day. We are sensing the rising of a higher love consciousness within the hearts and minds of all human beings. All nature and all animals are feeling this glorious birth of the new awakened humanity, a species devoted to living in harmony with all life and finally liberated from our old violent programming.
May Divine Wisdom, the animals’ grace, and our true hearts guide us toward ahimsa, peace, liberation, and lovingkindness for all. As always, I send my thanks to each of you, dear Prayer Circle members, for joining this circle of compassion and shining the Light of Truth for all to see, so that one day soon, all beings will be joyful and free.
May compassion and love reign over all the earth for all beings everywhere.
