Gentle World: Overview of a vegan community

I am so glad that I was able to take the World Peace Diet facilitator training that Will Tuttle, author of The World Peace Diet, created. I can be on the monthly calls where World Peace Diet Facilitators can gather and learn together.
Will is very supportive of Wellspring Tiny Home Village, and I am pretty sure I will be presenting on his next call! I will confirm as soon as I know for sure.
I deeply appreciate his encouragement. I am happy I was able to eat dinner with Will and his wife Madeline when we were both staying with Joanna Blad. I was able to show them pictures and answer questions about my vision. We have corresponded quite a bit over the past 3 years and met at the same gatherings 3 times. I feel grateful to know him and Madeline.
Here is an excerpt from the description of the last call we had where Angel Flinn, a member of the Gentle World, a vegan community, share her experiences.
………..
Angel Flinn mentioned giving us a link to their main video: Gentle World — For the Vegan in Everyone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m0ybFde5qg
And here are a couple of links that explain what we do at our two locations:

Here’s the 50th anniversary interview, for those who wish to know more about how the community began, and its history: https://gentleworld.org/50-years-of-veganism/
Also, she liked passing this on to the group – these “final thoughts that came to me after the fact.”
“I could relate to what you discussed about the relevance of vegan education in the context of a sinking ship. Of course, we can always take some direction from the lesson in the I Ching, advising us that ’the best way to fight evil is through energetic progress in the good.’ The way we approach that will be unique to each person, of course. But when a ship is sinking, the reasonable response is to look for a life raft. That’s how I see vegan community at this time. The more we can band together, the more we can help one another and provide the support that we can’t expect from a world and a system with predatory intentions, as you outline so brilliantly in your book.  making an effort to look deeply to understand its significance for us as vegan advocates and as concerned citizens and spiritual practitioners, and also some tips for healthy immune systems.”

I asked Angel a question during the call, and she answered it–and invited me and others to contact her if we wanted to have a conversation. I am definitely going to do that!
