Meditations, scriptures, prayers, affirmations, and songs that we might listen to in the morning

I have developed a practice of waking up early and spending time just doing breathing exercises and listening to words and music that is uplifting to my soul. During this time, I pray and connect with Jesus in a way that is so meaningful and peaceful. I am in a stage of life right now where I am losing my ambition to accomplish things. My connection to Jesus is the most important thing to me. My goal is to be in his presence every second of the day.

I thought I needed to have people living here in order to accomplish this goal, but I can’t wait! Maybe today will be the day. Perhaps living with people would be a distraction. I think the hardest thing to do is to be connected to Jesus while I am talking to people.

What is being in his presence, anyway? I think I need to explore that in another article. One thing is for sure–when I am in his presence, I am present in the moment. I am expressing the fruits of the spirit.

Galations 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

I hope that very soon, though, women who share this goal of practicing the presence of God will join me. I am ready! Let’s see what we can accomplish when we are in this state of consciousness. The sky is the limit. With God, nothing is impossible.

I like to start with this meditation.

This is the breathing exercise I do while “soaking” in scriptures, music, affirmations and prayers. I do the intense breathing, and then hold my breath. The peace I feel and the length of time I don’t need to breath is incredible. This keeps me awake (for the most part) and also helps me go deep. I still fall asleep some times–and I am learning to overcome that.
Piously Good is the name of the station which I listen to the most. The narrator has a wonderfully soothing speaking voice and the music is unobtrusive. I love the combination of scriptures and affirmations which align with scriptures.

The speaker reads the scripture addresses which is a bit distracting, but I like his voice, and love hearing the scriptures themselves. Music and nature sounds in the background are good. He has a lot of videos that I will be exploring.

Song that is inspiring and soothing: Your my father https://davidbrucemusic.bandcamp.com/track/oh-god-
