I just wrote this letter to Paul Hutchinson, founder of Liberating Humanity and one of the real life characters in the movie, The Sound of Freedom. He was the rich entrepreneur. His story is unbelievable. http://www.liberating-humanity.com
Hi Paul,
You have inspired me to finally come up with a vision for the community I have wanted to create for the past almost 5 decades. A vision that I believe fits in wonderfully with your vision, and I am in the process of articulating it on my blog http://www.wilberforcevillage.com I wrote a short article about you here: https://fruitfulveganvillage.com/2023/09/12/can-i-inspire-one-of-my-heroes-to-help-finance-the-wilberforce-village/
When I first heard about the movie, The Sound of Freedom, I knew I had to go on opening night to support it, and I did. Then I arranged for family to go for a part of a birthday celebration, and then I went once again a few days later when I heard from a podcast how important it was for people to attend so that theaters would keep the movie in theaters.
I have listened to your story twice, and I am thrilled to hear that you want to liberate all of humanity–because truly, it is going to take all of us giving 100 percent of our lives to turn this world around.
I hope you will check out the article and my website. I wanted to share this with you ASAP before you are inundated with thousands of stories and mine is lost in the crowd. I hope I can have a contact email where I can send the vision which I will explain in detail. The vision came to me today and I believe that our Creator was downloading the plan.
Here are a few details:
- Challenge people to come and work to transform the 19 acres, much which has fallen into disrepair and which has a lot of junk (not trash) that could be upcycled. Have a goal of using every single piece of salvage to build a huge common house, which also serves as a school, dormitories for staff and volunteers, and rooms for future rescued victims of sex trafficking.
- Start creating businesses where rescued victims and staff can earn a living and pay for community expenses.
https://groundedsolutions.org/strengthening-neighborhoods/community-land-trusts - Create a Community Land Trust which ensures that rescued victims and staff can have their own little homestead and pass it along to their heirs. This CLT model is amazing and you can learn more at
https://groundedsolutions.org/strengthening-neighborhoods/community-land-trusts - Get Discovery Channel to document the multi-faceted, unique, heart-warming project which serves both as a demonstration for sustainable way of life and a way to heal victims of sex trafficking.
- Businesses include a natural healing center, permaculture design school, a self-reliance plant nursery, organizing business (www.becomeorganized.wordpress.com is my business), and a school for all ages.
- We can duplicate the community similar to a franchise so that others can easily accomplish what we have done.
- We will be constantly improving and sharing our knowledge.
- We will involve neighbors and the nearby towns and the whole county. People from all over the world will want to visit and we will serve them as well.
- We will have a documentary made and can raise awareness about how to heal from trauma–all trauma–because we all have suffered and need to heal. The community will be all about healing for everyone.
- We will liberate humanity–one community at a time.
I did this in about 10 minutes because I have an appointment. I can share so much more. But I gotta run!
