What I Think About President Trump

Recently I came very close to inviting someone to visit the Wilberforce Village site. She was very serious about moving here. She filled out an application, read the values and commented on them, and provided references. I called the references and they provided impressive information. Then I believe that Holy Spirit guided me to tell her that I supported President Trump. She completely changed her gentle tone and her words were like a knife to my heart. In fact, the last message she sent me I still have not read completely because it was so intense and violent.

Therefore, I want to be clear about what I think about President Trump so that if anyone has an issue with that, they can withdraw without going further.

First I will say how I wish Trump would be different

I wish he would:

Admit he was wrong about Operation Warp Speed A

Support restorative justice for people no matter how terrible a crime that they commit, and honor Jesus command: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

Start the Simple Living government agency which would support people in living more simply so we would not need to “drill baby drill” and do all kinds of things that just support materialism.

Make the White House into a co-living space for as many people on the cabinet staff who would like to live there could do so.

Make the White House Lawns into food forests.

Encourage people to grow their own food like the days of the Victory Gardens and with all the knowledge we have now about permaculture, help us have food security even in the cities.

Become a vegan and promote veganism as a way of life that could promote health for people, animals, and the earth.

Encourage deregulation when it comes to zoning so that people especially in the country can build structures and communities without so many limiting controls such as controls on human waste composting and grey water usage. Also find ways to get cities to quit controlling people’s abilities to have back and front yard gardens and to raise chickens.

Have a farm animal sanctuary at the White House to bring awareness about how farm animals are so loving and should not be eaten.

Serve whole food, plant-based food on Airforce One and in the White House.

But even though the above things are not forthcoming at this time, I still like and support President Trump

I have made my conclusions because of direct and indirect experiences. I have listed them here:

Listening to him speak. I have listened to many of his speeches given at his rallies, the State of the Union Address, talks at various gatherings, and him answering questions from the press. I don’t align with many of his judgmental words like calling people stupid or making up derogatory names. But overall I respect and value how he addresses people.

He is implementing a plan to stop animal experimentation. PETA has even acknowledged him for this effort.

Observing and approving of who he has picked for key cabinet positions, especially RFK, Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth. I trust these individuals and the fact that the first two have come over from the democratic party to support Trump gives me reassurance that Trump is on the right track.

I see how he is hated and attacked. This may seem like a strange reason to approve of someone. Yet I do believe that people who are against the thriving of America and the Christian principles it is founded on, are doing everything they can to bring him down. Using “law fair”, assassination of his character and his physical body, attacking friends, family and supporters, and utilizing some of the press to tell actual lies about him are some of the ways that he is under siege. The deep state, new world order, illuminati, big pharma, big ag, and other forces which I believe are against freedom, want to sabotage his efforts. This validates his efforts in my view.

He is supportive of Christians and Pro-life people. I deeply appreciate how he has a faith-based office in the White House and that he and his family and many of his staff celebrate the traditional holidays such as Christmas and Easter in ways that are honoring of Christians. I am grateful that he has pardoned pro-lifers who have been unfairly treated and is encouraging the defunding of Planned Parenthood. He is not trying to make laws which make abortion illegal, but instead is exposing corruption and fraud of pro-life powers such as Planned Parenthood.

He has a strong, supportive family. I have listened to long interviews with his son, daughter-in-law, wife and former wife. They all love him, including his 16 year old granddaughter who wanted to speak in support of President Trump at the Republican Convention. His family members stood by him even when the attacks on him were so intense. I think there is one relative, a niece, who has written a book about him that is negative. But the overwhelming evidence is that he is a loving father, husband, and grandfather. This is one of the most important values I have–strong and healthy family–and thus I respect President Trump immensely for exemplifying this value.

He supports DOGE. Yes, I also support Elon Musk’s endeavors to get rid of fraud, corruption and waste in the government. I have kept a pretty close watch on all the things Elon and his team have exposed, and I am so glad that President Trump is on hand to support the DOGE effort with executive orders and other means in order to make the federal government smaller, more efficient and I would say, stable.

He is authentic. I appreciate that he goes off script during his pre-written speeches, and he can answer the press as he sees fit. He reminds me of my own tendency to say things that may not be perfectly expressed, but I am doing my best to be honest. I think he is doing that as well. He is funny, too, along with being entertaining. I like that.

He acknowledges the contribution of others. President Trump is nowadays almost always saying “we” instead of “I”, which he may have done more in the past. He has picked such competent people who are giving him wise advice and taking steps to implement all that he has promised. He likes to compliment them and give them credit. I love watching his public cabinet members and how he truly appreciates and even loves them–and they him.

He is a team player and loved by his team. Perhaps President Trumps biggest problem in his first term was that he surrounded himself with people, most of whom who were part of the deep state. Since he is a team player, he took their advice which for a large part was not helpful. Now he has learned many lessons and has learned who can be trusted. As I said before, I love watching his cabinet meetings and hearing cabinet members speak about their deep respect for President Trump and for the other members of the cabinet. President Trump has been able to bring a team together who support the agenda that he promised, have the skill to articulate that agenda and carry it out, and who are actually friends! This is very beautiful and endearing to me.

He has inspired me to learn about how government works and to feel hopeful. I used to be very apathetic about the United States government. The only time I had some hope of change happening was when Ron Paul was running for president in 2008. I poured my life into supporting and leading the Fayetteville Ron Paul Revolution Meetup. People were really waking up to how much corruption was taking place, and Ron Paul was a great spokesperson to rally people around a message of hope. When it became apparent that the powers that be were going to keep Ron Paul from winning using their nefarious methods, and Ron Paul dropped out, I went into a deep depression. I gave up on learning about or being involved in national politics until Trump came into the picture.

He is willing to change. Even though President Trump has never admitted that it was a mistake on his part to promote Operation Warp Speed and thus the Covid vaccination, he did appoint RFK Jr. to be the Secretary of HHS. Trump is very committed to finding out why the health of Americans has gone downhill, including the number of children being born with autism which has skyrocketed. He also admits he made mistakes in his first term of office and he learned from those mistakes as shown by his cabinet and other appointees.

He reacted to his assassination attempt in Butler in a heroic way. When those shots were fired which ended up killing and wounding others in the audience and hitting his ear, Trump rose to the occasion standing up and shouting “fight, fight, fight.” He wasn’t promoting violence by the people. He never has. I believe he was saying, “Don’t give up, no matter what.” I also deeply value how he honored the man who died because he sacrificed his own body by using it as a human shield to protect his wife and daughter.

He honors victims. President Trump has such a heart for the families of people who have been victimized by such things as the debacle in the USA withdrawal of Afghanistan, young woman raped and killed by illegal migrants, and young women who are hurt because of men being in women’s sports. When he speaks about victims and honors the families, he shows a tenderness of one who loves his own family and can empathize with those losses.

He is keeping campaign promises. I admire how he is fulfilling right away almost the promises he made such as protecting our borders, dismantling the Department of Education, starting the Department of Government Efficiency, putting into place respected cabinet members, working to end the Ukraine War. cutting taxes for and helping the working class in a multitude of ways, bringing manufacturing back to America, and getting men out of women’s sports.
