In keeping with my philosophy of determining my actions by asking the question “What if everyone on the planet did what I am doing right now?” I have come up with a new question.
What if Wellspring was the last surviving group of people on the planet?
With the Corona Virus “pandemic” turning so many people’s lives upside down, I have come to accept that anything could happen on the planet. Although I believe there is a very strong probability that what is happening right now is orchestrated by what I call the dark forces–(deep state, illuminati, and folks who crave power and money), the situation has inspired me to think even more deeply about the future.
Twice in the past week I have been reminded of the theory of lost civilizations being destroyed by such things as solar flares or ice ages. I just found this article from Gaia.com about the topic which uses scientific evidence to show this probability.
I used to love to read about Atlantis and Lemuria. I still remember reading and discussing such things sitting in the little 16 x 8 foot travel trailer that my former husband and present friend. That was only 45 years ago!
I just read this article from FractalEnlightenment.com which offers both myth and historical facts to point to the possibilities.
Whatever happens, I want the community that I am co-creating with nature and with our creator at this time (one person, my friend Sky, is exploring possibilities–yay!) to be based on values, beliefs, practices, habits, and knowledge where our children could carry on these things and create a world where all of life thrives in love.
My first foray against the mainstream was when I decided to become vegetarian because I didn’t want animals to suffer. I feel so much sadness because I didn’t know how much animals suffer to give milk and eggs, other secretions, their wool, skin, bodies to be experimented on. I became vegan 5 years ago when I woke up fully to that awareness
I’ve been privileged to be able to dance in the seas of change especially over the past 45 years since I woke up at age 20 to what my purpose in life was. I hope to always remember that moment on the flight from Luxembourg to New York after my 13 month solo journey from Europe down to India and Sri Lanka and back.
“The only way you will be happy is if you serve and use your gifts.”
That is the distinct message I sensed. Not an audible voice. But such a strong impression this made on me that I changed my life forever.
I soon met Cliff (mentioned above). He opened up to my eyes to so many things. He introduced me to Yogananda, who became my guru for the next 15 years. I learned how to garden using permaculture techniques–right around the time that Bill Mollison was experimenting with such design. I learned about how the Federal Reserve was exploiting and controlling people and how important it was for us to create a gift economy. I learned about all the so-called conspiracy “theories” which now are being proven to be true.
I lived for a year with Cliff in the most simplest way possible–working 40 hours a week for our rent in a tiny trailer on 40 acres of untouched land–except for the well that had been dug where we got our water. We were 98% raw vegan, and we continued learning about natural healing from a book called Return To Nature by Adolph Just.
Even before (in about 1980) I was pregnant with my first child, Chris, I had learned that vaccinations were dangerous. I lived in Encinitas, California, when I was pregnant and I was blessed to be surrounded by people who both homeschooled, had home births and did attachment parenting. 30 years ago, all this was rather rare.
You can look at the values page and see how I have been following the beat of a different drummer especially since my 13 month traveling adventure at age 19-20. This has taken courage and stamina.
Some might say I am a failure. After all, no one has yet joined this community which I envision could be one that could be duplicated and which would 100% contribute to the well being of all life. Look at the two divorces, children who did not embrace all my values, just a handful of close friends, many friendships which ended in rejection of me, organizations that ejected me because they saw me as causing conflicts (and I see myself as a whistle blower–not a popular role!)
And I am by no means saying I have arrived. that is why I want to live in community. I think it is the only way we will survive as a species. I have described in those values and this whole blog–factors that I think need to be present for total health of individuals, the community, the land and all of its teeming life, which will spill out to all of earth.
I read that some people think that the Atlanteans dug underground homes so that they could survive some natural disaster. I think this might be a good idea–and I want to research. I just found this video. And this article
I believe that because I have thrown myself passionately into every experience in my life–not giving into the temptation of being addicted to security–I have learned a lot. I hope others will join me who share my values, and who will add more values to the list.
I hope that our civilization will not have to be almost completely destroyed in order for transformation and healing to arise. I will continue my dream of creating something that could be duplicated, and that people will see and embrace this way of living. I would love that!
