Life is about being on a journey where I am learning to become more like Christ every day. What would the world be like if everyone were aspiring to emulate Jesus? How would this earthly existence be transformed if at least the majority of people had this goal?
Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” I have heard this statement for decades and thought it made sense. But I did not totally embrace the concept.
After living over seventy years, I finally know what he means. Now I see the importance more than ever before of living my life in alignment with my values. And all of my values relate to my answer to the question, “What would Jesus do.”
I have been incredibly busy for the past year and have not prioritized writing. Even this moment I need to get off the computer so I can run with our dog, India. Then I will do all the things I am committed to do.
My goal is to find at least one Christian Universalist who is a vegan and who wants to devote herself to service. My first commitment to service is to my family, and then we can decide where to go from there. Living a life completely devoted to helping each other and all of life to thrive by becoming more like Christ is the goal. To help bring the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven is what I yearn to work towards.
More details will follow.
