As I listen to Paul talk on his various podcasts, I learn more about him and his vision. I feel so inspired and I plan on creating a business plan in the very near future which will catch his attention and inspire him to want to help with the vision of Wilberforce Village that continues to evolve as I allow Creator to impart inspiration to me. Paul Hutchinson has been the main person who has really motivated me to dream in a way that gives me joy and hope that I can finally accomplish creating an intentional community.

Believing that living in a healthy intentional community is the only way I want to live started when I was 21, in 1976 when I first read the Intentional Communities Directory. It’s 2023, and that means i have had this desire for 47 years. I believe that the reason that this yearning did not come to fruition was because I needed a more complete, holistic view of how to create a community that could be a culmination of all my understanding of how to best serve all of life.

This is an organization that Paul Hutchinson is very impressed with. He talks about how they are able to offer a healing environment to children who have been victims of sex trafficking. I hope to have a similar model. They find poor families who have 1 or 2 kids, and ask them to take 3 or 4 more children who have been victims. They provide a home and jobs in the cottage industries on the farm where the homes are located. He doesn’t talk about this being a community, but I am excited about this idea for it can help alleviate poverty as well as heal victims of sex trafficking. http://www.hopeoflifeintnl.org

Brian Tracy inspired Paul Hutchinson when he was a young man with the tape series, “The Psychology of Achievement.” He is motivating me to revisit this information. I remember when I was helping Jack Canfield produce his Self Esteem Seminars back in the early 1980’s (he was just getting started doing these on his own!), Jack mentioned Brian Tracy. Brian may have been Jack’s friend if I remember correctly.

This is a sting operation that really happened, and it was Paul’s first experience in saving children from sex trafficking.
